Marian Phelps, FNP-C
​Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient team)

Marian is Family Nurse Practitioner that completed her degree in 2021. She has been a RN since 2012. She spent 8 years at Saint Luke's Hospital at the Plaza in KC. She worked there in the neurology department and pulmonary/cardiac patient population.

It was Saint Luke's that Marian met Dr. Ahmed while working alongside him. After 2020 she moved to a family clinic to get better experience with doing primary care. Upon completing her degree as a NP she knew she wanted to work in primary care and connected with Dr. Ahmed and became part of the LiveActive team!  Marian is passionate about women's health, mental health and optimizing your potential.

Marian is originally from Lawrence and lives in Waldo with her wife Katy and sons Jack, Sam and a Goldendoodle, Leo. She loves spending time outside with her family. They enjoy bike riding, hiking, swimming and camping. They also love all things KU and of course Chiefs and Royals.
